We at GMLD are pleased to announce that another of our long term projects has won an Award of Excellence in the “Urban Infill Low Rise” category of the 2015 Ottawa Urban Design Awards.

GMLD provided full lighting design for front of house spaces and exterior of the the Sir John A. Macdonald Building, collaborating with great teams at NORR and MTBA. GMLD worked on the project from 2006 to 2015, illuminating both the repurposed heritage banking hall and the modern addition. Several custom and modified light fixtures were created to suit the challenging spaces. Congratulations to everyone on the project teams!
