As the year draws to a close, we are reflecting on an another incredible year of lighting design with our team at Gabriel Mackinnon.

We would like to thank all of our families, friends, clients, and colleagues for allowing us to continue doing work that we love! Here is a highlight reel of a few of our favourite projects from the past year:

Some of year’s highlights included:
– the retro Canadian music exhibit at the Canadian Museum of History
– restoring an iconic art deco dining space at Montreal Eaton Centre with our friends EVOQ Architecture
– opening the London Children’s Museum with the talented folks at Reich and Petch
– winning 3 awards at IES Ottawa and going on to win an Award of Merit at the national level from the IESNA.
– opening “Auschwitz: Not long ago, Not far away” with the amazing folks at ROM Toronto
– learning a lot about lighting controls including DALI and DMX and using it to make the Boise Watershed magically dynamic
– illuminating a MEGALODON at ROM Toronto!

There were so many more highlights this year. Thanks to all for helping us make the magic happen!
