GMLD was pleased to learn this week that one of our large projects many years in the making has now been certified LEED gold. Edmonton Federal Building and Centennial Plaza accumulated 43 points to achieve the status.

We are proud to have been able to earn the Light Pollution Reduction Credit for this challenging site with significant elevation changes, while still illuminating the large open plaza and building facades in a comfortable and elegant way. The site also uses energy efficient LED and metal halide sources to reduce ongoing energy use.
