The state of our everyday life here in Ottawa has been changing rapidly with the onset of the novel coronavirus. Yesterday (March 15) Ottawa’s Medical Officer of Health requested that all people of Ottawa increase their practices of social distancing, keep their children home from daycare and work from home if possible.

In light of these and other developments, we have advised our staff that they can choose to work remotely and should limit all business travel, especially international travel. We are fortunate to be well established with respect to working off site, so we will continue to complete client work, but we will plan to attend meetings remotely if possible and will be limiting professional development and product presentations.

We at GMLD remain committed to delivering the highest caliber of lighting design for our clients, however we plan to do it from a safe distance of 1-2 meters! As such, you may find that our office doors are locked, however please get in touch with us at studio@gmld.ca or reach out directly to your specific project contacts.
